Perhaps the only thing that banks understand is money. A Vickery resident (name withheld) recently began speaking bankers language while corresponding with a Wells Fargo personal banker who offered to assist him in maximizing the substantial funds he had on deposit at Wells Fargo.
The personal banker was probably shocked when the reply came that there was no reason to discuss the issue. The Vickery resident explained that he lived in Vickery, and described the situation we are in with Wells Fargo. He then informed the personal banker that he would be withdrawing his accounts from Wells Fargo.
Perhaps Wells Fargo will do the math and determine that continued loss of accounts and public goodwill might offset the benefits of their partnership with Wieland.
